UPDATED: Police seek man in Fort Bayard Credit Union holdup

Police are searching for a man who robbed the Fort Bayard Federal Credit Union in Arenas Valley on Monday morning.

Mike Burns, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Department, told the Daily Press that deputies were dispatched around 9 a.m. after a report of an armed robbery at the bank. The suspect, who fled on foot, is a man last seen wearing a black hoodie and black bandana.

“Anyone who may have information regarding this suspect or incident is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 575-388-8840,” Burns said.
